Budget-conscious librarians and information workers will enjoy this course which focuses not only on a variety of different types of open access material but also on how libraries and information centres can locate and use a wide range of resources and collections.
After this course participants will be able to:
- Understand the wider context of Open Access publishing and other freely available resources and collections
- Identify and locate freely available resources
- Be aware of the role of social media in maintaining currency
The course will be practical and participative, with practical work in every session. Participant numbers are limited to 18, to ensure individual attention.
